Seeking Filmmaker for Documentary
Posted in Classified Ads, Crew & Employment: Paid

I am a writer seeking a filmmaker to collaborate on making a documentary about the tragedy of newborn babies so often found dead in the United States – every 4 days according to my research – found in public toilets, trash bins and the woods. I am planning a film that will go deeper than the rhetoric of “pro choice” and “pro life” campaigns, explore the facts of unwanted children, and propose simple solutions to preventing unintended pregnancy, making abortion almost unnecessary. This will not so much be a political film but a spiritual film to focus on the hope that can emerge for wanted children and for redefining “life” and “choice” in a meaningful, peaceful way.

Paid. Grants being sought.

I am preparing a grant proposal to fund the film’s expenses and I’m looking for a filmmaker with the artistic eye to complement my arts as a poet and journalist.
