Butter Sculptures

Since 1972 Linda Christensen has been sculpting the likenesses of the Princess Kay of the Milky Way contestants out of butter. You can witness this first hand at the Minnesota State Fair. Linda will spend 6 to 8 hours in a booth kept at thirty-eight degrees with the contestant. When the fair comes to a close the lucky ladies can take their roughly 192,000 calorie likenesses home.
