Update: March 15, 2010 - Both the House and the Senate have appropriated funds for the Minnesota Film & TV Board in their budget proposals, which is a positive development for the film industry and MFTVB. The suggested cuts to our operating budget by both the House and the Senate reflect a 3-6% decrease, which is in line with that of other agencies included in the budget proposals. The budgets now move to conference committee. We greatly appreciate everyone's efforts to write letters, e-mail or call their Legislators. If you work in Minnesota's production industry or your business benefits from this industry being active in our state, make sure your voice is heard. Contact your representatives and the Governor's office.
